What is Habitat for Humanity of Idaho?

Habitat for Humanity of Idaho is a supporting organization for all Habitat for Humanity affiliates in the state.  We seek financial support for all of them.  Our goal is to eliminate poverty housing in this state.

How Does It Work?

  Each of the twelve local affiliates raises funds within its community to build homes in partnership with low-income people.  The families are local people who work on their homes and then purchase them with zero-interest loans from the affiliate.  The need in Idaho is great.  See our Case Statement.  To meet this need, more sources of funding are necessary.
