The Idaho Habitat Affiliates' Story

            Twenty years ago not one Habitat home had been built in Idaho, although two affiliates had appeared on the scene – North Idaho and Boise Valley.  By the end of 1999, over 50 Habitat homes were built by the 11 affiliates that now exist.

             The year 2000 saw The First Lady's Build--Idaho's first all women’s build--in Boise.  Boise Valley also built a home sheltering a family of 14.  See Idaho Affiliates for more information on individual affiliates.
